Final Silent video 2

Another contrast this time between green and white

final silent Video 1

A view into Blacks and Whites contrast

Thank you

I don't know why I love this Mcdonalds drive thru sign so much, but I just simply do. This sign was located on North Avenue and it is also composed of all still images. I also would like to point out that never in this video to you get the full message that the sign says

Contstruction warning sign?

The thing that I love most about this clip is the fact that this warning sign is actually upside down. Only at the end when you can actually read the word safety is my camera upside down. This sign was located on N. Prospect Avenue in a Construction zone

Green Snow Chair

I found this old abandoned chair down on Farewell Street. I simply love the contrast of colors but also the contrast between the hard jagged ice and the soft mushy chair.

Telephone pole confusion

This next video is of a bunch of worn out bulletins and posters on a telephone pole at the corner of North Avenue and Kennilworth Avenue. It is entirely composed of still images. I like that the fact that you only get a glimpse of actually words.

Whites and Blacks

This is just a short video of a checkerboard like garage that I found on Oakland Ave. I figured that there isn't two colors that contrast more than white and black.

Image capturing strategies

For my videos and stills that I took I tried out two simple strategies. First, I proceeded to take pictures of only text that would seem unreadable to the viewer (needless to say this was my personal favorite). Next I decided to take videos of contrasting colors. For example, whites and blacks, dark tones and light tones, or just some brightly colored greens next to a boring tan colored wall.

Drift Strategy

On this particular drift I decided to try out a new strategy. It consisted of me turning whenever I encountered a tan colored vehicle. At first I thought it wouldn't work out, that is until farther in my drift where it seemed that every block seemed to have at least one or ten tan vehicles at a time.
